Your Surfboard
The surf school uses British Surfing Association Swell softboards and currently has over 50 surfboards (more surfboards can be brought in for larger groups). These are the best type of surfboard to learn to surf with because they are long, wide and buoyant making them very stable.

We have 7 foot, 8 foot and 9 foot surfboards which are matched to your height and weight. Each surfboard has a legrope (or leash) to keep it near when you fall off. (Even the best surfers fall off!).

Your Wetsuit The surf school has over 200 winter and summer wetsuits with sizes from childs small to adults extra extra large. We have an extensive range of womens winter and summer wetsuits from size 8 to size 20.
	We also provide wetsuit boots in children and adult sizes. For the cooler months we also have wetsuit gloves and hoods. You are welcolme to use your own wetsuit.
At the start of a lesson groups are arranged into ability and introduced to their instructor. To make you easy to spot in the surf each group has its own coloured id vest
	We have a trolley to help carry surfboards to the beach. We find this really helps our younger surfers.
