Welsh Surfing Federation Surf School

Your Surfboard The surf school uses British Surfing Association Swell softboards and currently has 40 surfboards (more surfboards can be brought in for larger groups).  These are the best type of surfboard to learn to surf with because they are long, wide and buoyant making them very stable. We have 7 foot, 8 foot and 9 foot surfboards which are matched to your height and weight. Each surfboard has a legrope (or leash) to keep it near when you fall off. (Even the best surfers fall off!).

Your Wetsuit The surf school has well over 100 winter and summer wetsuits with sizes from childs small to adults extra extra large. We have an extensive range of womens winter and summer wetsuits from size 8 to size 20.
	We also provide wetsuit boots in children and adult sizes. Its no problem if you wear your own wetsuit because we give you a yellow and black lycra vest to put on to make you easy to spot in the surf.
